Langly Camera Bags

Langly is a fresh new company with recent kickstarter success.  Freelance photographer, Evan Lane prototyped two styles of rugged camera bags to protect his expensive shit.   His mission was to construct “the” bag that would merge functionality and fashion.  After many persistent attempts Lane came out with two styles, the Alpha and Delta backpacks.  It is still relatively new so pre-order one now. ($199)

Wewood Collection ’12

WeWood came on the map a couple years ago with an avant-garde approach to watch making. Italian born, they sport a sophisticated look, and uses state-of-the-art Miyota movements. But that’s only the topsoil. WeWood’s philosophy is rooted far beneath their sleek designs. They stick to their guns, and their philosophy is to replace what they take. For every watch they sell, WeWood plants a tree to help restore mother nature. b s p o k e d wanted to feature this eco-friendly company and their impact on both the fashion world and the environment. ($120-$139)

Light Blue Ivy Polo

A polo shirt is not usually something I would get excited about wearing, because, well they are usually boring. But the good people at Left Field applied a small detail of Liberty print to the placket of a ringspun polo and came up with something fresh.
Woven, cut and sewn in the US.

Oak Street Bootmakers

Designed in Chicago, handmade in Maine. Started by the son of a cobbler, Oak Street Bootmakers are giving those other Maine-made shoe manufacturers a run for their money. I’m especially digging the Peanut Suede Vibram Sole Trail Oxford for a late summer/early fall shoe.

Genuine Horween® Peanut suede. Hand-stitched moccasin construction. Vibram sole. Form-fitting inner. Waxed stitching. Rawhide laces. Handcrafted in the USA. What more do you need to know?

Blue Claw Co.

Riding the American made train again, here is a company and a bag that exemplifies the blend of durability and elegance.  Blue Claw Co. used inspiration from travels in Argentina to create the Worton Weekender, the Maryland based company’s first and signature bag.  Their selection is small but their quality is unparalleled.  It is a concept they started with, allowing them to handcraft each bag with the finest materials.
