Langly Camera Bags

Langly is a fresh new company with recent kickstarter success.  Freelance photographer, Evan Lane prototyped two styles of rugged camera bags to protect his expensive shit.   His mission was to construct “the” bag that would merge functionality and fashion.  After many persistent attempts Lane came out with two styles, the Alpha and Delta backpacks.  It is still relatively new so pre-order one now. ($199)

3×1 Denim Solutions

We all know quality jeans deserve the best care. We go months without washing them, stick ’em in the freezer, salt soak…anything to make sure they stay the same. To be honest these urban legend methods of preserving a pair of $300 raw denim are just a more comforting way of preparing for inevitable. Scott Morrison’s Soho store 3×1 is easing that grimace of our faces with Denim Solutions. An 8 0z. bottle lasts for 15 washes and at $20 a pop, it will keep that precious pair of jeans around a little longer. (we still recommend not washing that often)

Gentlemen’s Boombox: Artpentry

Thank you to my good friend Binkley for tossing this my way. Floyd of Artpentry will find anything used and beat to hell and turn into something a bit more modern. His tremendously unique idea to reinvent worn suit cases, toolboxes and luggage into functional boomboxes epitomizes ass kicking art. Here’s a look at some of the Chicago based artist’s recent work.
